Only 3 months later....

Wow - it's been so long I almost forgot how to create a NEW POST! Sheesh!
I am sure alot of you hadn't even noticed I was gone, but if anyone did - here's why.

I don't have the time :(

Jaelyn is a fanastic baby. Right away, we could tell she was going to be an easier newborn than Jackson was. And that was saying alot because we had it good with him too. She was always very content sitting in her little rocking chair which made things simpler for me because Jackson is quite demanding of my time. Now she is 3 months old and has discovered that being held is tons more fun. Jaelyn smiles and laughs alot and does enjoy laying under play gym for a shortwhile. She was sleeping awesome at night for weeks up until last week. Now she is back to waking for 2 feedings. What is that? Not happy about it at all. Her naps aren't great either. I am lucky to get an hour nap - but most are only 30-45 mins. Jackson was a fanastic sleeper as a baby. At 3 months, he was sleeping from 7pm-6:30pm straight and took a good long 2.5 hr morning nap (and 2 shorter afternoon naps). Jaelyn goes to bed around 7pm and is now waking at 1-2am AND 4-5am to eat before waking at 8am. Something has to change here because I am not getting much sleep at all! She's 3 months now...

Jackson's verbal skills really started to take off when he turned 2 (Oct. 22nd). He can speak in sentences of 5-7 words, however not all of them are understandable to people other than my husband and I. He knows ALL of his letters and numbers up to 10. His newest thing is wanting mommy and daddy to sign the ABCs and he claps and shouts when we finish. He is a whiz at navigating through our smart phones. This is helpful when we are situations when we need him to be still/quite and happy. There are a few numbers games on there for him now :) He enjoys playing with other children, but at home wants to watch too much tv. Sometimes it's easier to let him watch a few shows (of Elmo & Monster's Inc) than to keep him busy myself when things need to get done. That sounds terrible of me, but Christmas has been a challange this year with trying to save money. I decided to make alot of the gifts myself (which I had mentioned in my last post). So that has taken up much of my free time. They are finally ALL completed now, with only 2 days before Christmas to spare. Which is why I am actually able to write a blog post. Today is only the 2nd day ever when both of my kids were napping at the same time.... yesterday was the first and boy is my house clean!!

I hope to show you all the fun things I made in future posts. They are all easy enough to complete, but when you're making 3 of each item... then it can be time consuming.

Well, baby's awake in her crib dying to get out. Here are a few photos ...

Good to hear from you! I was hoping everything was ok!
I completely understand the TV thing, that's all B wants to do is watch and sometimes its just too easy and I can get things done :/
Merry Christmas!

I noticed you were gone! I missed you!

Lainey doesn't sleep thru the night. She wakes up about the times that Jaelyn wakes up now. But that's ok. Won't last forever but it sure would be nice to sleep through the night! lol

Jackson seems to be doing really great!!

It is hard to find the time to fit everything in that's for sure!
