This Friday I am participating in my first "Show Us Where You Live - Friday" feature. I think it is a great way for me to keep at least one room in my house clean :)
This week is playrooms, bonus rooms or laundry rooms. Since our house does not have the first two - laundry room it is! I am actually very smitten with our laundry room. I hope to some day paint the room, but am afraid of creating a smaller feeling... any advice there? We wanted to save the $200 PER cabinet/pedestal for under the washer/dryer when we first moved in. We had several appliances to purchases for the new construction home didn't have much cushion for the finances. Not too pleased when I have to get on my knees to load and unload. But I also wouldn't be pleased to spend $400 for the convenience. At least not in this market!
It isn't huge, but has everything I need. It has a great cabinet space for laundry essentials as well as rags and old sheets/towels for scraps. Along with a deep utility sink and great counter tops. I use this space for storing Jackson's carseat and a basket with his hats and shoes. I store a few bins full of toys that Jax is too young to play with. Compliments to our nephews!
I painted two walls of our living room and would like to share that soon. I need to take a few photos during the day to get nice lighting! I am very happy with the color I chose!

You have such a great space for your laundry room! It is so neat and tidy, I need to do better on mine!
Paint away girl... You have nice light cabinets so they would pop. Would love to have your counter space in there!
Great room! The utility sink is perfect. I wish we had one. Your son is very cute. I enjoyed the videos. Our son is about the same age too.
I am so jealous of your utility sink. You keep it so nice and clean. Thanks for sharing.
