And so the 2nd Trimester Begins....

CRAZY! It completely snuck up on me. I have been feeling alittle more energized, thanks to the week of beautiful weather we had - but that's gone again. And I am left with the start of my seasonal allergies which kill me every year! The first few days are the worst when I need to give the preventative medication time to work in my system. Now that my son is feeling better and sleeping soundly through the night again - I am the one up blowing my nose struggling to breathe.

Jackson has been more like himself yesterday and the day before. I believe he got used to me putting all my chores away for the 4 days while he was really bad, and literally just laying on the couch with him. Because now, he demands my attentions all day! He whines and fusses at my feet if I am not sitting on the floor playing with him. I feel bad about that, but I also haven't done ANYTHING around the house in a week since he started feeling sick - so now I need to catch up a little. Yesterday was a bit of a struggle for me because he just whined out of boredom :)

He is beginning to speak more too. He can "Roar" like a lion, "Moo" like a cow. He has occasionally put two words together, "Bye, Dada" and "Mama On." (When he saw me turn on the lights in the living room). He says "Hot Dog, Kitty (very clearly), Juice" and a few others. I can tell that he is signing less - although I still am a stickler for "please" when he wants something. Never too early to start his manners :)
Today I am going to be spending the late morning by our neighbor - cutting their hair. Who knows what the rest of the weekend will bring! Cold weather, unfortuantely - that's a guarantee!
